Wortfetzen is coming your way with two brand-new tunes.
You might already know him from countless soundsystem sessions across Europe, where he brings fire to the mic with his unmistakably versatile style—moving effortlessly between rap, spoken word and soulful singing. As the official MC of the basscomesaveme Soundsystem, he has been representing the crew for some time, energising dancefloors wherever the bass calls. And if that wasn’t enough, the Hamburg-based sound activist is also crafting heavyweight Dub and Bass music under his Haghbin Dub alias, constantly pushing conscious messages through deep frequencies.
Now it’s time for Wortfetzen to step into the spotlight with his debut release on BCSM.
For this special release, he’s teamed up with two of Germany’s most forward-thinking Dubstep and Bass music producers, bringing together lyricism, sound system culture and heavyweight low-end pressure.
“Forward Now” sees Penguin Sound at the controls. Deeply rooted in Hamburg’s vibrant bass and soundsystem scene, the duo have already built a reputation for crafting powerful dubs that hit hard on any rig. Together with Wortfetzen’s strong vocals, they’ve created a deep, rolling Dub Stepper packed with conscious lyrics, heavyweight bass and enough energy to ignite any dancefloor.
On the flip side, Munich’s own Seahorse returns to basscomesaveme after two acclaimed releases, once again showcasing his unmistakable dub-infused Dubstep sound. “Something” eases the pace without losing an ounce of weight. Floating atmospheres, meditative melodies and deep sub frequencies provide the perfect foundation for Wortfetzen’s reflective vocal performance, creating a tune that speaks to both mind and body. Pure meditation with serious bass weight.
Two tracks, two unique collaborations and one clear message: deep bass, conscious vibes and soundsystem music built to be felt as much as heard.
Turn up your system, feel the pressure and bring these tunes straight to the dancefloor.
